One thing that has been on my mind this past week is the fun weather we have been given. I feel this March has been absolutely lovely, and it’s not because the spring weather has come. I feel it’s because of the beautiful snow that has been blessed upon us. Personally, it’s one of my favorite parts of winter, but I also enjoy the other seasons and what they bring. Recently, I have been praying for somewhat warmer weather and complaining about the cold, but that changed for me this past week.

It’s amazing how the simplest thing can make us think. For me, it was watching the children’s show the Berenstain Bears at the children’s Bible study I work at. In this particular episode, it was about how we shouldn’t waste a day wishing it was yesterday and how we should go out and enjoy what today has to offer. This includes complaining about the weather and wishing it was different. Unfortunately, we can’t control the weather; that is something only God can do. Thankfully, we have Meteorologists who can read data in order to predict the weather patterns. With this being said, we need to take a step back and be thankful for what God gives us every day, and sometimes we just need a little reminder. Watching that show is what did it for me, and I hope this post does it for you.
