My favorite holiday is – without a doubt – Christmas. I love everything about it. I love what it celebrates and how it makes our traditions and memories so special.
Christmas is a time of giving. I love going out and finding the perfect present for those special people in my life. The best part of Christmas shopping for me is when I remember why we do it. As a Christian, I believe giving and receiving presents is something we do in celebrating the birth of Christ. This Christmas tradition is tied to the story of the three Magi giving their gifts to baby Jesus.

Christmas itself is about the ultimate gift that God the Father gave this world over 2000 years ago – Christ Jesus. This is stated in one of the most famous Bible verses – John 3:16.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
